Retro Wednesday..........

Here's an interesting array of cordless radios
Upper left...An 8 transistor Panasonic from the late 50's
Upper Middle...A radio that mounts on your bicycle circa 1965..
Upper Right...The straw is the antennae..hehehehe
Lower Left...This radio works great, I don't know when it was made though!
Lower Middle..This radio is water proof, you can hang it in the shower!
Lower Right..This 'crank' radio also works on solar power...hehehehe
.
This is just a drop in the bucket!!
.
Peace....!!!

I had a transistor radio when I was a kid; pink, of course. And it only picked up AM radio. Total Dark Ages. Does that solar powered crank radio actually work?:)

I have this little pink shower radio that looks like a bug, but it doesn't get very good reception so I no longer use it and you have to have a Phillips to change the batteries, which I don't have, so it's more annoying than it is convenient.

It sticks to the wall via suction cups.

I couldn't tell you exactly where it's at right now, but for awhile it was cool.

Now, I just crank the station up when I'm in the shower and leave the bathroom door open.

Works a LOT better!

Great collection of radios. I especially love the crank one in case of emergencies. I have had a few but non so interesting. Well there was this one red round radio that I think only got AM. I wonder if I still have it somewhere?

You never cease to amaze me at your knowledge and your stuff. Quiet a collection of both.
